I have been considering starting a specialised Tech blog for a while. Technology often muddies the water here on tygerland, which has always been primarily a politics and news blog. I’ll be working on the blog’s appearance and static pages over the next week - when I get chance, Mrs. tyger is away from tomorrow until Monday and I have the kids.
I have just paid for my hosting for two more years, so tygerland, Content Squared, and now RatGeek.com will be around for a while at least. I’ll also be looking for fellow contributors for Rational Geekery as I hope to build up the site in the coming year (so links would be welcome, too). I think there is room in the market for a serious UK-based tech blog, which not only reports on the latest news from the world of technology, but also provides original analysis. Contributors could post on a regular or ad hoc basis, I’m easy really.

You might want to check my Magnolia group ‘Best of TechMash’. It’s mostly links to software and web apps that appeal to me (Mac-centric too)rather that gadgets and hardware, but there might be the odd link that’s useful. There’s an RSS feed as well. Good luck with RG!
