Richard W; I don't blame Blair. I blame the thick losers who buy the crap anyway. How can they think that the latest on Amy Winehouse is news?

Crappy people indeed.

We, the crappy people, buy the crap - and we, the crappy people, talk about the crap - so we only have our crappy selves to blame.

3 million+ crappy people in England read Murdoch's crap (The Sun), and somehow think that crap is 'news'.

But we, the crappy people, always have to blame some other crappy person - like Blair.

This has nothing to do with "free speech or anti-political correctness". It's just sheer bad taste and sickening insensitivity. Typical 'entertainment press' vulgarity, in other words. are you really surprised, after ten years of Blair's "educashun, educashun, educashun"?

Oh, and I also think compared to the treatment that Colin Stagg suffered over a number of years at the hands of the tabloids that this is the equivalent of nothing at all.

To put this ever so slightly in context, last week's OK! I think had a interview with Jordan with the front page saying (I may paraphrase slightly) "HARVEY HITS PRINCESS'S HEAD LIKE A NODDING DOG!" as if it was hilarious. There's another this week with a sob story about how Harvey is "getting worse". Jordan has been known to make similar bone-headed remarks as well, after the birth of her second child calling her/him/it "the normal one".

Fact is, Jordan and others like them sell themselves to certain magazines, which they use quite openly to promote each other. It's a completely incestuous relationship, and I'm not surprised that rival magazines might do such dastardly things. The whole sector is disgusting, and I truly don't know how those who work in it live with themselves.

Right on, Aaron. What constitutes current affairs today I see each day with the girls. One wonders about the "dumbing down" process.

Who owns (&/or controls) Heat Magazine ?

EMAP.

I don't think there is a wider political agenda behind this story. Just the idiocy of group think.
