I heard a track off this playing in HMV the other day, although I didn't realise it at first - I just wondered why the song didn't sound like it did at home...

Very good band, and a crime they only got to do one song at Live 8 - but despite that loads of people were walking away at the end of the day singing it.

All the Killers stuff is difficult to listen to at first. The first couple of listens are subdued, but given time, the tracks get under your skin and don't let go.

It's funny - the Killers never get the critical reaction they deserve. Both Hot Fuss and Sam's Town were really strong, interesting albums.

Same goes for the Magic Numbers... they don't neatly fit into a category, so people don't know what to do with them.

xD.
