Barclays Bank has lent £750m to the ruling elite of Zimbabwe over the last year, according to a newspaper investigation. The money was used to bankroll a scheme to boost farm productivity, but the bank is under pressure to reveal whether they have given money to any of the five government ministers named in EU sanctions.
