We have just witnessed some of the most amazing weather.
In ten minutes the entire garden was flooded in a thunder & hail storm. The hail also slaughtered Mrs. tyger’s nascent tomato plants, meaning a few more trips to the market this summer. I was half-way through a level on Half-Life 2 when the power fluxed leaving the power light flashing somewhat worryingly on the desktop rig. I hope the “big-PC” isn’t buggered again…

Yes, my big hole in the garden is also full of water again after bailing it all out this morning. We had a power flicker too, while I was half way through encoding a DVD of pictures of Little Penguin with backing music to send to his grandparents. Thankfully I’d just saved the project before the power interruption decided to reboot the machine. Strangely enough my Linux PC stayed on throughout, only affected Mrs Penguin’s Windows machine.
