A request from Mrs. tyger

As regular readers will know, Mrs. tyger and myself expect another child at the end of next the* month. A baby girl we are told. Now I thought we had agreed on Marijana (Ma-re-ya-na - rolling ‘R’), and then I thought we had agreed on Vitaliya (Vi-tal-e-ya), but no it’s all up in the air again. *tyger rolls eyes*

(Is this a blogging first?) Mrs. tyger would like to welcome recommendations for baby girl’s name.

*Is it June already?

What about Tarja? It`s a Finnish name.

Well I’m holding out for Marijana, but I’m just papa.

Tarja is nice, I like quite a few Northern European names.

what is yr deepest desire in terms of what yu would wish from the child. think the name would emerge from there.

failing that whatever name yu choose will reveal the parents deepest desire in what they would want from the child.

best not to think. time will automatically force a decision.

Marjana is a lovely name. Just don’t for a nanosecond be tempted to follow the late Paula Yates when it comes to nameing the new tyger cub!

I quite like the name Marishka. :)

    Nice, I like it too.

Marishka is also the affectionate name for someone called Marina, and is close to Matryeshka, which is the word for Russian Dolls!
