I have been listening to Podcasts for a while now. But I’m rather numb by my portfolio of options.
I need something new. Something hot.
I came across the Letter to America show recently, and already it’s one of my favourites. It’s funny, somewhat self-aware, and a very good listen. Based in Belfast, they recently got ’shafted’ at the Irish Blog Awards (Now with Podcasts!), so have a little charity and go download a show.
So, I ask you dear reader; now that my appetite for spunky non-mainstream media is raging, can you recommend any Podcasting gems I may have missed? I’m away on business tomorrow night so I could do with something to keep me company.
UPDATE: My busy work schedule means that I’ll not be able to cover today’s Budget, but I’ll try tonight to get some commentary up for your perusal. Mind you - I’m sure you’ll manage in my absence.
UPDATE: RIP - The Daily. You will be missed. A great blog. Exit at the top dudes

have you ever tried the “skeptic’s guide to the universe” produced by NESS? I rate it highly, it covers scientific controversies, all the latest claims of the paranormal, quack health etc, but all done with great humour and style.

Thank you for your kind words re: our shafting. We endeavour to do a good show and hopefully reduce the amount of shafting in the future.
TLH,
I have subscribed to the suggested podcast. I will no doubt listen to it over the next couple of days. Thanks!
Jett,
Hey dude, thanks for calling by. And thanks for producing (along with Wayne Ordinary American, and unpaid-intern Erin) an excellent hour’s listening.
Oh and Jet, everyone enjoys a good shafting…
Yes, I suppose when you put it that way it doesn’t sound so bad!
