Six sixes

Note to non-cricketing readers: this is very, very rare. As far as I know it’s happened 3-times (once by Garfield Sobers, once in Indian domestic cricket, and on this occasion).

Ireland beat Pakistan; Bob Woolmer dead; capsized pedalo; Flintoff stripped of vice-captaincy.

Surely cricket isn’t usually this interesting?

Just a quiet couple of days by cricketing standards.

You ought to try the thrill of watching Boycott get 30 off 287-balls.

The Indian to hit six sixes in an over was Ravi Shastri who did it playing for Bombay.

Shastri was a good test all rounder who most of the time was not a particularly quick scorer but when he did he sure let fly.

    Thught Gibbs was great!
