The Newarker sounds like a very good idea. An insider's view of the town is just what is needed and I look forward to reading it...

Yeah Braith's is quite good as they make sandwiches to order. I had a very nice hot chicken, cheese, lettuce, and pineapple sub there. Very tasty.

I'm working on a few new projects, one of which is The Newarker - a blog for Newark folk. Any ideas or contributions would be great.

Drop me an E-Mail if that suits.

Braith's is the one near Argos and although it is hard to get a seat sometimes, the service is great and the food is superb. The owner of Posh Nosh seems to think that she is doing you a favour by serving you but considering the extortionate prices that they charge, it's just not funny. Whenever I have been in there, she seems to be moaning on to her friends about how tired she is, so with luck, Starbucks will take the weight off of her a little.

Hey 'dark lord,'

Obviously Posh Nosh is not your style. Occasionally I have found the staff less than great, but in Newark, if one has visited that rude bastard in Feeling Peckish, you get used to it.

It's a shame the food in Feeling Peck. is good especially the pies. The owner has a problem with children, especially in pushchairs.

I really like bagels and Posh Nosh has the best Bagel menu. Which one is Braiths? The one near Argos?

If Posh Nosh dies under the weight of competition from Starbucks then I for one will be glad of it. Over-priced shite and rude staff do not make for a relaxing lunchtime and they were losing out to the far superior Braith's anyway! So away with your bagels and bring on the future of snacking!

And this is bad why?

Just for the Posh Nosh (I know, I know, crap name) economics I guess. Poshy Noshy offers free Wi-Fi too, at Starbucks its T-Mobile's pay-for service.

And this is bad why?

I will not say I liked the shrill schoolgirls. Too old to pass comments like that now (can I say they were uniformed 6th formers? No? Ok.). :(

"Starbucks, on the other hand, was heaving, with many schoolgirls buying their stylish branded coffee with their dinner money."

So Posh Nosh (yes, it is a crap name) was peaceful and quiet and you had some time to reflect upon the world and plan your novel without moronic shrieking in the background.

And this is bad why?
