Crazy blonde air-head, Ann Coulter, is still thrashing around fighting the conservative corner. Take this paragraph from her latest article: -
So in addition to bringing back a cut-and-run national security strategy, tax-and-spend domestic policy and a no-enforcement immigration policy, the new Democratic Congress is apparently ushering in a return to feminist milestones.
Oh. So Bush’s strategy in Iraq is working? Watch this readers. The exit from Iraq will be framed as a Democrat cut & run rather than a Republican balls-up. The war was there to be won folks, and they screwed it up. Now I don’t advocate walking away; I subscribe to the pottery barn rule - you break it, you own it. We should do whatever it takes to create a safe environment for the Iraqi people. Draft or not. But the Republicans have never taken this war seriously. They sold a lot of arms for their buddies and they sounded big and clever. Period.
“Tax and spend?” Oh this would be the administration that has created record deficits? Coulter should get real. Bush pissed all over Reagan’s legacy. He has never once acted responsibly with America’s taxes.
“No-enforcement immigration policy?” You have to be taking the piss? The Republicans enjoyed almost imperial power, controlling every branch of the legislature, yet failed to agree on an effective immigration bill. Coulter is gasping for air; she’s utterly lost it. Any problem America faces on immigration, it’s because the Republicans are unable to govern.
This is what the Republican talking heads are reduced to. Reshaping recent history and skewing reality. And you would think losing both houses would usher in a period of critical introspection. No. Welcome to the idiotic rightwing moronosphere.
