Hodge goes off-message

Margaret Hodge, the trade and industry minister, was reported to have gone ‘off-message,’ at a recent Fabian’s dinner. Hodge called the invasion of Iraq Blair’s, “big mistake in foreign affairs,” and criticised his “moral imperialism.”

Blair has maintained incredible discipline within his inner-circle, considering the woeful progress in Iraq, and such an embarrassing outburst is bound to put more pressure on the embattled PM.
