Blair backs Brown

Punch and Judy

Cameron was very lukewarm in his first Queen’s speech rebuttal today, reinforcing the concerns of many in Westminster, who believe that regardless of his promising start, the new Tory leader is proving to be a bit lightweight.

In a stirring demolition of Cameron’s affront, Blair dismissed the Eton upstart, claiming “He will be out on his feet, carried from the ring.” In a public expression of his support, Blair backed Gordon Brown as the heavyweight capable of delivering the knockout blows.

Blair showed yesterday why he is the biggest heaveyweight of them all, and why he stood in 1994 opposed to Brown.

It was a devastating performance, where Blair swung freely, and Cameron cringed, at every turn, Cameron threw mud at Brown, but Blair threw what could only be desrcibe as a s***-fest at Cameron.

It truly is the farewell tour, and my my, isn’t he having fun.

well, when one does not have fear, the feats can be awesome.

ps - having said, did not see the “performance”.

It is the most logical reaction. The leader chooses his subordinates, his subordinates have no ground to oppose the leader. The leader is outstanding, the subordinates are just mdiocre. Differences between those high up and those not so high up.

And that is why I sense Brown or any of Blair’s chosen subordinates will not be of any use to the British people.
