Bob-a-job
Posted: June 30th, 2006 | Author: Aaron | Filed under: admin, journal, sports |I heard today that my company is merging with another. It’s been one of the worst kept secrets in history, with many of us knowing all but the technicalities, over a month ago. This ‘news’ was delivered with the usual management psychobabble, with lots of talk of efficiencies and synergies, which, as everyone knows, usually mean redundancies. Nothing concrete as yet, but in previous mergers comrades did fall.
I guess I need to get stuck into that novel and get it finished. Anyway, if anyone out there needs a political/technology/sports/culture (or anything really) writer, you know where I am. Take a look around the blog and see what you think.

On a lighter note, tonight I’m going to watch Notts take on Yorkshire in Cricket’s Twenty20 Cup at Trent Bridge. Glorious day too.
Let’s wait and hope everything will be alright.
Thanks Jose,
Anyhow Notts beat Yorks. Just a case of cagey bowling kept a promising Yorkshire start from blossoming. They just could not keep their run-rate at the required level (just under 10-per-over). Great game
I like it. I like it when a person overcomes all her/his fears and worries by letting her/his mind fight hard and win. That is no doubt the path to triumph.
A good sailor is the one that has gone through countless storms and keeps at it.
I think I am old enough to say this. Sorry.
