I’m going to be the best man at my sisters wedding, later in the year. I said I would write a speech of about 15-minutes, and friends said that would be too long, people would be bored shitless, and I should keep it to around 5-minutes, max.
Hugo Chávez, Venezuelan president and serial Bush antagoniser, lectured for 3½-hours, in Camden Town yesterday. He supposedly won-over the crowd, with his brand of Anti-Capitalist rhetoric; so I was wondering, should I talk about how great the bride and groom are, or feed the wedding guests, some angry leftish political rhetoric?
After all, Chávez’s “won applause from a large contingent of banner-bearing women.”

Talking of Chavez’s long speech, that’s been a wonderful idea placing the clock on the first page of your blog, Tyger. By the way my time down here coincides, so, apart from the BBC, whose time I usually check, I’ll have your clock to keep me on time, too.
Thank you.
lol, no worries!
I thought about several “world clocks” Moscow, New York, maybe Tokyo, but that’s the smallest size I could get, and too many would look cluttered.
